the may 2007 ish (NAKS "ish!") of candy magazine is out! im excited because for that issue i had my first "big time" shoot for candy..or for any magazine for that matter! in addition, kasama pa ako sa mga kinunan! ehem..boy panel..ehem ehem! dagdag TF dapat to! ...ang feeling naman nun! i still think wala pa rin makuha si marla na iba under the field of photography. REGARDLESS ako pa rin kinuha! the shoot was fun, plus i got paid. parang hindi siya trabaho. that is the dream, except more shoots. thanks marla! libre kita i promise!

i finished all my prints today. while waiting for my shoot, and instead of eating (as usual), i "practiced" with photoshop. got an old photo of me and edited it to become a character in the best movie ever! i present to you...301!

this is an old photo of a church in manila. ngayon ko lang natapos.

may nakita kami ni pearl sa devart na magagandang travel photos na shinoot with film. nakita namin na a bit noisy/grainy sila compared to digi. ganun ba tlga? then nakita ko sa recent post ni idol "vuda" na nagdadagdag din siya ng noise with photoshop. matry nga...

i borrowed fran's lights because i wanted to practice my newly acquired skills from bub training. yes yabang! skillz that killz! ZEY! and of course i wanted to shoot gizmo. too bad isang ilaw lang gumana. wala tuloy highlights! pero ok lang. nakaproduce pa naman ng okay pics. as usual tawa ng tawa pa rin si kyla kase nakkconsious. haha! pero nung huli she felt comfortable na rin.

i did some of the editing, like the adding of a person na wala nung shoot nyan! can you spot the not present nung shoot? and to think pumasok ako sa bub na walang kaalam-alam sa photoshop.

walang kahit isang shoot. pinaglaruan ko nlng ung lights sa bub.

that's my job. photography 6 days a week, 8 hours a day. it's cool and fun but hectic. that's why there's no time to dilly dally.








actually, gusto ko lang talaga gamitin yung word na yun. it's such a fun word...dilly dally.

i think im color blind...or maybe hindi pa sanay mata ko magdistinguish ng slight differences in color and shade. the prints of of a client came back na "ma-yellow" yung skin nung baby. buti nlng nagustuhan pa rin nung parents. similarly, kanina sa presentation sa client we were choosing what grading will go best with their photo...nasabihan akong "wag naman yung mukhang may hepa". shit. need to practice. kakahiya. oa ba? haha shatap!

training has now moved on to post (editing). just practicing what i'm learning. pero nasobrahan naman! haha!

ahh yes black and white. after a lecture on ansel adams and researching on his works, i attepted blacking and whiting my photos.









as a result...mehn not easy. bulag ata ako sa mga shades of gray.

i am now 22. bow.
